We're re-thinking American Yoga
If you've been in the yoga world for a while you know there are some major issues with the industry. Yoga teachers don't make enough money, yoga studios are churning out teacher trainings just to make ends meet, and the general public has no idea how to find the right yoga teacher for them.
Social media often prioritizes appearance over substance, making yoga seem inaccessible to those who could benefit most. Yoga teachers just want to make a living doing what they love without burning out or selling their soul. But for many, there seems no clear path for professional growth. We're here to change that.
We're building a movement to help the yoga industry grow up. New standards that aren't "one size fits none". Technology that helps teachers at each step in their career. A revenue sharing system that pays mentors and schools for their work. And a dynamic public registry searchable by lineage.

A new standard for yoga credentials based on competencies, not hours
Why should a traditional hatha yoga school and a hot power vinyasa school have the same requirements?

We're sharing the revenue
Mentors receive a share of their mentee's membership dues, and yoga schools build a recurring revenue asset. Great yoga teachers are visible and supported. It's the first retirement fund for career yoga teachers: more revenue, more stability.
Promoting skillful teachers, not follower count
Students can find the right yoga teacher for their needs. Teachers can show their skills, training, experience, and lineage.
