Typical Teacher Costs

Premium membership

• Each credential verification fee is a one-time cost determined by each school (from $54 to $250)

• Each CE verification is a one-time fee of $10

• 'Legacy" credentials are those from programs completed before AYC's standards existed

• Founding Members: Premium membership includes 3 "legacy" credential verifications ($162 value)

• Each additional "legacy" credential verification has a one-time fee of $54

• Your yearly membership dues stay the same no matter how many certifications or schools you have.

Professional Membership

• Professional membership includes 1 program accreditation ($108 value) and 3 CE accreditations ($75 value)

• Each additional program accreditation has a one-time fee of $108

• Each additional CE accreditation has a one-time fee of $25

• Your yearly membership dues stay the same no matter how many certifications or CEs you offer.

What is a School?

A school is an organization or individual who runs teacher training programs or CE programs

Can I join if I'm not American?

Yes! Anyone can join. (We are in talks to have a “Global” association.) Note that in order to verify those credentials, you will have to have a certificate from an accredited school or submit to a legacy credentials verification process.

What is the Give Back Fund?

10% of AYC membership fees go into a Give Back fund. We don't know what we will do with it yet but we plan to use the funds to help grow the yoga industry. We will take feedback and suggestions from members at the end of each year.
