Body by Breath® Immersion
Purpose
Body by Breath® explores the science behind the diaphragm-vagus nerve connection and delivers a series of exercises that train and modulate your body for profound relaxation, increased body awareness, and mind-body connectivity. This is a resilience-building practice.
What to expect
This 3 Day Immersion provides you with multiple embodied explorations that create the conditions needed for profound relaxation, increased body awareness, and mind-body connectivity. You’ll find a treasure chest of new practices to enhance your life. Each day includes a movement-based workshop, educational lecture, and interactive PowerPoint Q/A session.

Style/Lineage
Jill Miller is a pioneer in forging relevant links between the worlds of fitness, yoga, massage, athletics, and pain management. She and her team of 500+ teachers help you to live better in your body with an emphasis on proprioception, mobility, breath mechanics, and recovery.

- Describe the anatomy of the Vagus Nerve and the three zones we can stimulate it in: Supra-clavicular, Thoracic, and Subdiaphragmatic.
Practice Skills
- Explore more then 10+ practices to mobilize, release, and strengthen the diaphragm.
- Practice body-based meditation techniques that are accessible to all
Teaching Skills
- Teach simple body-based meditation techniques that are accessible to all
- Guide students to use Roll Model® Therapy Ball Techniques to hasten relaxation and pain relief
- Guide savasana with an understanding of the vagus nerve, that help clients experience a body wide parasympathetic cascade of relaxation.
AYC allows each school to state and evaluate the competencies each student acquires. Students rate how well the program delivered them.
