The Mindful Unplug at Feathered Pipe Ranch

Movement, Rhythm, and Nature

Who this is for

Nestled among tall pines, alpine meadows, and starlit skies—this retreat program offers a rare chance to step away from the urgency of daily life and into a deeper cadence of being. Seamlessly woven together throughout the week, the three threads of embodied movement, rhythm and voice, and nature immersion interlace into a cohesive experience that rekindles connection to self, others, and the living world.

Benefits

  • Reconnect with embodied intelligence through gentle, inquiry-based movement practices that support ease, adaptability, and self-trust rather than performance or correction

  • Regulate and restore the nervous system by spending extended, unhurried time in nature, silence, rhythm, and community-counterbalancing chronic stimulation and stress

  • Develop a more sustainable relationship with movement grounded in listening, choice, and efficiency, supporting longevity and resilience.

What to expect

  • Daily movement practice grounded in somatic awareness and Freedom Yoga principles, supporting embodied listening, ease, and adaptability

  • Rhythm and sound explorations including drumming, voice, and communal music making to cultivate presence, connection, and joy

  • Nature immersion and contemplative practice, such as forest walks, silence, meditation, and sensory awareness guided by the land itself
