Bio
Anne Jablonski is a yoga and somatic movement educator with more than two decades of experience teaching students how to listen to their bodies with greater intelligence, kindness, and discernment. Her work emphasizes inquiry-based practice, nervous-system awareness, and movement that supports adaptability and ease across the lifespan.
Anne completed her 500-hour yoga teacher training at Sun & Moon Yoga Studio in Virginia and later trained with Erich Schiffmann, whose freedom-oriented, experience-first approach continues to inform her teaching. She is also trained in Movingness, a somatic movement education modality developed by Peter Appel, which focuses on efficient, responsive movement patterns and respect for the body’s innate wisdom.
Rather than emphasizing ideal forms or prescriptive outcomes, Anne’s teaching invites curiosity, choice, and embodied self-trust. She is known for a steady, compassionate presence and for creating learning environments that honor complexity, humor, and the reality of being human—especially as bodies and lives change over time.
In addition to her teaching, Anne serves on the board of the educational nonprofit, the Feathered Pipe Foundation, helping to steward a historic retreat center in Montana dedicated to contemplative practices, yoga, and community. She lives in Virginia and approaches teaching as a lifelong practice of listening.
