Who this is for

Mokṣā is a welcoming yoga space for Black and Brown queer communities to return to themselves through embodied practice and community care. We center accessibility and honor all bodies, gender expressions, and lived experiences, offering softness, healing, and chosen family where everyone is invited to arrive exactly as they are.

What to expect

An hour long class designed to remove stress from your shoulders and tension in your hips. You're welcome!!

All levels are welcome—NO experience or flexibility required. Just bring yourself and an open heart!

Wear whatever you feel comfortable moving in. No Lululemon leggings necessary!

I’m a queer yoga practitioner based in Brooklyn. I came to yoga through nightlife, first finding connection, joy, and collective release on the dance floor before discovering the same currents moving through breath and body. Same thang, different name! My practice is rooted in alignment, inquiry, and liberation. I’m influenced by Advaita Vedanta, Buddhist teachings on interconnection, and the lived wisdom of my queer community. I identify as a Black nationalist, and my teaching is shaped by questions of freedom, embodiment, and what it means to belong fully to ourselves and each other.
