Advanced Anatomy

Advanced Anatomy

Every body is different. Teach like it.

Who this is for

This training is for yoga teachers and experienced practitioners ready to deepen their understanding of anatomy in action. It's ideal for those who want to teach more safely and inclusively, work skillfully with injuries, and honor the diversity of human bodies in their classes.

Benefits

Students will develop a more nuanced understanding of anatomy as it applies to real bodies in real life—not idealized forms. They'll learn to recognize common postural and movement issues stemming from modern life, and how to skillfully adapt asana to meet those needs.

Most importantly, they'll expand their toolkit of modifications, variations, and creative adaptations—empowering them to teach practices that are truly safe, accessible, and honoring of all bodies.
