Embodied Anatomy: Fascia, Biotensegrity, & Beyond
What holds you together sets you free.
Who this is for
This workshop is for you if you:
Are a dedicated practitioner or teacher interested in healthy, sustainable movement
Want to understand the science behind why body-based practices affect mental and emotional states
Have experienced lingering injuries—especially ones that seem exacerbated by practice
Are curious about the merging of science + spirit toward a deeper understanding of bodymind as one
Want to move freely for as long as possible (it IS possible!)
No prior anatomy knowledge required.
Benefits
Students will leave with a foundational understanding of fascia—the connective tissue that shapes how we feel in our bodies—and why it matters for every kind of movement. They'll understand the emerging science of biotensegrity and how it transforms ideas of alignment, injury, and resilience.
Most importantly, they'll begin to feel what they're learning: connecting intellectual understanding to embodied experience, and discovering new possibilities for freedom in their own bodies.
What to expect
More information
Fascia is everywhere in your body—spiraling, connecting, and shaping how you feel when you move. Understanding fascia changes everything: how we think about alignment, injury, resilience, and the connection between body and mind.
This workshop combines lecture, discussion, and embodied exploration to give you both the science and the felt experience. You'll leave with new knowledge, new possibilities, and a new sense of freedom in your body.
