Purpose

To guide Yoga Nidra that is safe and simple. Not because that's the easiest thing to do, but because it's the most impactful.

What to expect

We'll meet online for 5 x 3 hour sessions (usually once a week) to learn about the science, history and practice of yoga nidra - from its pre-modern origins to contemporary schools and styles, but also practice leading elements of the practice together. You'll be fully supported with a manual to guide your learning. Then after the formal teaching is concluded you will have a month to submit a recording of your own yoga nidra, which will serve both as your assessment and an opportunity to receive in-depth and constructive feedback about your recording.

Style/Lineage

Comparative yoga nidra is a safe and simple version of the modern practice of yogic relaxation which draws on ancient roots. I first trained with the Yoga Nidra Network, but my studies in the practice have developed significantly since, in generous conversation with peers from many different styles and schools.
