Additional Information
While not required, it is strongly recommended that trainees have previously completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training before enrolling. This training is designed as a flexible hybrid program, allowing participants to engage in both virtual and in-person sessions, or attend the entire live portion of the training in person. Students must have access to an aerial yoga silk if they plan to attend any sessions virtually. Students must complete all 50 hours of training and pass all tests and evaluations to receive an Earth & Aerial Yoga Teacher Training completion certificate. Recordings of the virtual components will be available for download. Any missed in-person hours must be made up by appointment at an additional cost.Core competencies

Program Emphasis
Evaluation methods
Program evaluations
- Written exam
- Teaching evaluation
1. WRITTEN QUIZZES: After each training session, students complete an online quiz designed to assess their integration of core concepts. These quizzes emphasize deeper understanding rather than rote memorization, with questions covering sequencing logic, appropriate warm-ups, safe transitions, pose progressions, opportunities for common mistakes, and options for modifications and advancements. 2. SELF-ASSESSMENT: Each trainee is required to complete a structured self-evaluation, based on a recording of their practice teaching. This reflective process helps them build self-awareness and teaching precision. They assess their use of voice, clarity and conciseness of cueing, application of safety and modifications, class pacing, and their ability to observe and respond to students in real time. 3. FINAL EVALUATION: Trainees complete a live teaching practicum with real students, observed by a lead trainer. The evaluation focuses on the overall flow and structure of the class, safety and confidence in instruction, appropriate use of directive verbal cues, ability to manage student needs and offer real-time modifications, and general teaching presence and leadership.
